Greetings from Mabatini High School!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ from Mabatini High School. We are grateful for a meaningful term and for the ways students have continued learning, worshiping, and growing together. Thank you for your prayers and partnership as we continue walking alongside students and families in the hope of Christ.

A Story of Hope

Philip grew up in a Nairobi community where students face many pressures that can make it difficult to stay focused in school. He has been part of the MOHI community since childhood and has shown a strong desire to learn, grow in faith, and pursue his education.

As he entered his senior school years, Philip went through a difficult season. The influence of some peers began to affect his choices, his studies, and his spiritual growth. Staff members noticed the change and continued walking alongside him through mentorship, prayer, and conversations that helped him reflect on the direction of his life.

A meaningful turning point came when Philip attended Angaza Discovery Camp. During that experience, he was encouraged to deepen his faith, make wise decisions, and renew his commitment to following Christ. Since then, he has continued growing spiritually and has become more focused on his studies.

Philip is now preparing for his national high school exit exams. He hopes to continue his education and pursue university studies. His story is still unfolding, but we are grateful to God for the growth taking shape in his life through faith, mentorship, and steady support.

A different name has been used to honor privacy.
