School Highlights
- We are proud of our Grade 6 girls who attended Angaza Discovery Camp. The camp helped students grow spiritually and learn life skills that support Christ-like character.
- Our students participated in Ignite, a MOHI discipleship program for primary school students. Their involvement encouraged ongoing spiritual growth.
- We held performance management training for staff. The training helped staff reflect on performance evaluations and continue developing their skills in service to students.
Church Highlights
- Through community outreach and evangelism, we reached more than 200 people, shared the Word of God, and prayed with them. Some have since begun attending church services.
- We held a Synergy Sunday service, which brought together the community, staff, and students for worship and strengthened local relationships.
- We organized a youth seminar where young people discussed challenges they face in daily life and received guidance, encouragement, and mentorship.
Together in Ministry
- We welcomed a ministry partner and their friends to our center. They met their sponsored students and visited homes in the community.
- A ministry partner and his family visited the center, spent time with students, and visited homes in the community.
A Story of Hope
Tom has long carried a strong desire to succeed in school and pursue a future in engineering. During his school years, a serious injury affected his mobility and interrupted his education for a season.
Returning to school was not simple. Tom needed ongoing medical care, and there were times when treatment and recovery made it difficult for him to attend classes consistently. Throughout this season, MOHI staff walked alongside him and his family with practical support, encouragement, and care.
Tom eventually received the medical treatment he needed and returned to school with renewed determination. Even after missing significant class time, he continued studying, sat for his national high school exit exams, and passed.
Today, Tom is part of MOHI’s Mnara program, which supports twelfth-grade graduates during their gap year. He continues to pursue his dream of studying mechanical and electrical engineering. His story reflects courage, faith, and the steady support of people who continued encouraging him along the way.
A different name has been used to honor privacy.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for Kenya as families continue facing the effects of floods, economic struggles, and insecurity.
- Pray for financial stability among families in the community so that students will continue to be cared for well.
- Pray for peace in Kenya and around the world.
Encourage Your Sponsored Child
As you read about how God is working, please consider sending a message of encouragement to your sponsored child through the MOHI mobile app or through your online sponsor account. Your words can remind them that someone is praying for them, cheering them on, and grateful to be part of their journey.
