School Highlights

  • Our Health Department conducted medical screenings for students and provided dental health training to support their overall well-being.
  • Students participated in the MOHI Junior School Sports Tournament and finished as runners-up in the girls’ category.
  • We celebrated the dedication of our new school building. The building is providing needed learning space and has also created more room for the MOHI Technical Training Institute, a trade school that teaches hands-on skills. Students and staff were grateful to mark this milestone together.

  • Revival meetings were held in the Kariobangi area, where the church shared the message of God’s love and spent time engaging with community members.
  • The church is celebrating with three leaders who are getting married in April and May. Please join us in praying that God will bless their marriages and strengthen their homes.

  • The Third City Christian Church team held a fun day at the center, spent time with students and staff, and later hosted activities at a retreat center. The team also participated in home visits and spent time with their sponsored students.

A Story of Hope

Alice is a mother who has carried deep responsibility for her children through years of uncertainty. After the death of her husband, she faced serious family and financial challenges that made it difficult to provide a stable home and consistent schooling for her children.

During a difficult season, Alice took on casual work whenever possible, including washing clothes and cleaning homes. Even when life was unstable, she continued looking for ways to care for her children and hold onto hope for their future.

When MOHI staff reconnected with the family, the children were able to return to school. Support such as school uniforms and daily meals helped ease some of the pressure Alice was carrying. Over time, the family settled into a small home near the school, and the children began regaining a sense of routine and belonging.

Alice has continued to grow in confidence. She has reconnected with people around her and remains committed to caring for her children. She also attends a local church with her family, where they continue to be encouraged in their faith.

Her family’s story is still unfolding, but we thank God for the renewed hope and stability they are experiencing.

A different name has been used to honor privacy.
