Community Update - Term 3, 2024Greetings from Ndovoini Boys High School!

Hope Transforms: A Success Story
James* lives with his grandparents in the Ndovoini community after his father passed away and his mother abandoned him. The grandparents are small-scale farmers who rely on rain-fed agriculture. As they aged, supporting their family of more children than just James has become increasingly challenging.
James was at risk of not attending high school after primary school because his grandparents could not afford the fees. He was forced to take on casual jobs to try and raise money for his high school expenses.
After a home visit by a MOHI social worker, James was enrolled in the MOHI program and was able to join high school. It has been three years, and he is doing well. He aspires to become a teacher, and we pray that he will achieve his dream.

Term Highlights
- We are very proud of our students who accepted Christ, went through new believers class, and were baptized.
- We are proud of our Grade 12 students who sat for their end-of-high school tests. Before the tests began, we had a day of prayer to pray for their success.
Partner Connections
- We were blessed to have The Creek Christian Church who attended Sunday service with our students and staff.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for the continued good health of our students and staff.
- Pray for Grade 12 students who have completed their high school education. May they succeed in all that they do.
- Pray for our community, that God will provide for all their needs.
