School Highlights

  • Students participated in track and field competitions, with several advancing to the county level. Their participation encouraged the school community and motivated other students to keep developing their gifts.
  • The school and church community engaged in evangelism programs that shared the Gospel and encouraged spiritual growth among students and community members.
  • Five groups and four individual members registered with MOHI Capital Ltd., a financial services initiative under MOHI that provides microloans to help families within the communities we serve. Participants are currently going through basic training in preparation for saving and accessing loans to support their income-generating activities.

A Story of Hope

Pauline is a student from Kargi whose family has faced significant hardship, including the loss of livestock during a prolonged drought. For many families in this region, livestock is closely connected to daily provision, so this loss placed added pressure on Pauline’s mother as she worked to care for her family.

Before enrolling at Kargi Center, Pauline had not had access to formal education. Much of her time was spent helping at home and caring for animals. During a home visit, MOHI staff learned more about her situation and began walking with the family toward an opportunity for Pauline to begin school.

With follow-up and support from a social worker, Pauline enrolled at MOHI’s Kargi Center. The transition was not easy at first, but she gradually adapted to the classroom, began participating more actively, and showed strong effort in her studies. Over time, she also grew in confidence and was trusted with a leadership role in her class.

Pauline has also grown spiritually. She enjoys studying God’s Word and encourages her peers to trust Him. Her mother has participated in economic empowerment opportunities through MOHI Capital Ltd., learning about savings and later starting a small business through a loan. This has helped strengthen the family as Pauline continues her education.

Today, Pauline is moving forward with hope and determination. We thank God for the growth taking shape in her life and family.
