From a young age, Kevin dreamed of becoming an architect. However, growing up in the Mathare Valley slums, in a family that faced many challenges, his dream felt impossible. Then, in 2008, when Kevin’s mom connected with a Missions of Hope International (MOHI) social worker, Kevin was enrolled in a MOHI school, and his life changed forever.
Through Kevin’s sponsors, and the MOHI sponsorship program, Kevin was given new opportunities to make his dream a reality.

MOHI supported Kevin all the way through high school, university, and provided a loan for Kevin to pursue an architectural course. While at MOHI, Kevin not only received a quality, Christian education, he received spiritual guidance and development.
Kevin is now a practicing junior architect. He’s able to design, draw and lead construction of buildings.

Kevin is also a Sunday school teacher at his local church in the Mathare Valley slums, the same community where he grew up. The same way MOHI helped him transform through the Word of God, Kevin desires to help transform others.
