Once again, our centers are quiet after schools officially closed on March 17th. Only grade eight and grade 12 learners remain as they prepare to sit for their national exit exams.

Traditionally, these exams are held in November each year and this is the first time they are being held in March. This is due to the Covid-19 pandemic that altered the country’s school calendar.

This year, Missions of Hope International (MOHI) has 1,724 candidates; 498 from grade eight and 1,226 from grade 12. Out of these, 885 are boys and 839 are girls. The grade eight assessment runs from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th while grade 12 learners will sit for their written exams from Thursday 25th and finish in mid-April.

Please keep all MOHI learners in your prayers as they sit for these decisive exams. We trust that all grade eight students will transition to high school and that all grade 12 learners will qualify for university/college education.
