Community Update - Term 1, 2026
Greetings from Ndovoini!
Praise Jesus! We give glory to God for bringing us to the end of the first term. We are grateful for the learning, growth, and encouragement we have seen among our students, and we are glad to share a few highlights with you.

- Our students competed in the Joska Center Open Tournament and won a trophy. Please celebrate this achievement with us.
- We held a Synergy Sunday service, a gathering that brings together the community, staff, and students for worship and shared encouragement.
Church Highlights
- We held a weekend challenge at the school, where a team from the Kenya Students Christian Fellowship ministered. During the event, 145 boys gave their lives to Christ.
- We conducted door-to-door evangelism and revival meetings, reaching more than 100 people and 26 families. One person gave their life to Christ.
- We conducted a baptism and Holy Communion service, where 23 boys who had committed their lives to Christ publicly affirmed their faith through baptism.
Together in Ministry
- Monmouth Christian Church from Oregon visited our center. They learned more about the community we serve and the school operations.
- A short-term MOHI Vision Team visited our school, conducted home visits, interacted with community members, shared in worship with our students, and spent time with sponsored students.
- Several ministry partners and their friends visited and toured our school facilities. They enjoyed meaningful time with the students and staff.
A Story of Hope
Martin is a student at Ndovoini Center who has navigated a long-term health condition since early childhood. The condition has sometimes made it difficult for him to attend school regularly and participate fully in school activities.
His family has worked to care for him while also carrying many household responsibilities. Because of limited resources, consistent medical support was difficult to access, but Martin continued to show strength and a desire to keep learning.
During a home visit, MOHI medical staff assessed Martin’s condition and helped connect him with care through the MOHI clinic. He was also referred for specialized treatment and follow-up support.
Through ongoing care, Martin has experienced fewer health episodes, and his school attendance and participation have improved. He is more able to focus in class and take part in school life.
Martin’s family continues to receive encouragement and spiritual support as they walk through this journey with him. Please pray that Martin will keep growing in health, confidence, and hope as he continues pursuing his dreams.
A different name has been used to honor privacy.
Prayer Requests

- Pray for continued partnerships that will help more students find sponsors.
Encourage Your Sponsored Child
