A Story of Hope

Peter is now a teacher at Napusimoru Center, but his journey began as a student facing many challenges at home. He was raised by his grandmother, who believed deeply in the value of education and did all she could to keep him learning.

As a student, Peter found encouragement through school, church, and the steady support of teachers and social workers. He grew in his faith through Sunday School and later served by helping lead worship and encouraging younger children.

After completing senior school, Peter returned to Napusimoru and volunteered as an Early Childhood Development Education teacher. His care for children, consistency, and willingness to serve stood out. A social worker encouraged him to pursue formal training so he could continue developing his gift for teaching.

Peter is now employed as a teacher and is using his experience to mentor students who face challenges similar to those he once faced. His work has also helped him support his grandmother and contribute to his household. We thank God for the way Peter is continuing to grow and serve the next generation.
