Greetings from Mathare North!

Greetings in the Name of Jesus. God has been faithful to us this entire term, and as it comes to an end, we would like to share the term highlights. Be blessed.

Hope Transforms: A Success Story

Mark*, a Grade 2 student at our center, enjoys studying Mathematics in school. He also enjoys playing soccer with his friends. When asked about his future, he confidently says that he would like to be a doctor. He comes from a Muslim background, and when he joined MOHI in 2023, he never wanted to associate with Christianity. At times, his classmates would wonder because they would engage in morning devotions, and he would sit quietly.

Most of the time, he refused to close his eyes during prayers or even join in reciting memory verses or worship songs. When the class teacher noticed his reluctance, he consulted with the social worker, and together they began spending time with him for one-on-one guidance and counseling.

Over time, Mark began to open up. He started engaging in class devotions and even began leading simple worship songs. He now has new friends and enjoys being in school more than ever.

We thank God for the positive transformation, and we pray to the Almighty that Mark will come to know Christ at a personal level.
