Coram Deo

Greetings from Coram Deo!

Warm greetings from Coram Deo Center. We thank God for another school term and for the opportunity to share how the Coram Deo community is growing together.

Thank you for your support and partnership as we continue participating in God’s work through Christ-centered education and holistic ministry.

Head Teacher, Coram Deo

  • Thirty-one Grade 9 students registered for the upcoming national assessments in November. They will be the first class at Coram Deo to take these assessments, marking an important step as they prepare for senior school.
  • We held a celebration to thank God for Coram Deo being named Missions of Hope’s 2025 Center of the Year. The school was ranked first among MOHI centers based on holistic performance, and staff took time to reflect on how to continue growing faithfully.
  • We welcomed 35 new preschool students. For these children, joining school marks the beginning of an important learning journey, and we are grateful to God for this step.

  • We held the Ignite program for students in Grades 7 and 8. During the program, students learned life skills and received spiritual encouragement as they continued growing.
  • We carried out community evangelism through door-to-door and one-on-one conversations. These outreach efforts helped strengthen relationships and invited community members into church fellowship.
  • We held two revival meetings and reached more than 3,000 people. More than 20 people made decisions to follow Christ.
  • We held a well-attended Synergy Sunday service, bringing the school community together for worship and the sharing of God’s Word.

  • There were no visiting ministry partner activities to report this term. We remain grateful for the many ministry partners who continue to pray for and support the Coram Deo community.

Bella is a young student who joined the Coram Deo school community after her family had been carrying many responsibilities with limited resources. She was eager to learn, but she needed support as she adjusted to school and built foundational academic skills.

In her early days at school, Bella struggled with early literacy and consistent attendance. Staff noticed that she needed more support and began walking alongside her through counseling and encouragement.

A social worker also met with Bella’s mother so they could better understand what support would help at home and at school. Together, they developed a plan that gave Bella more structure and encouragement as she continued learning.

Over time, Bella began attending school more regularly. She grew in confidence, participated more actively in class, and made progress in reading. Her growth has not been instant, but it has been meaningful.

Today, Bella continues to grow as a student. We thank God for the ways she is learning and moving forward with growing confidence, supported by her family and the Coram Deo community.

A different name has been used to honor privacy.

  • Pray for families in the community to experience good health and steady provision.
  • Pray for the spiritual growth of our students and for continued engagement in community outreach.
  • Pray for community members who are facing addiction and other challenges, that they would receive care and hope in Christ.
  • Pray for continued partnership and for unsponsored students to be sponsored.

As you read about how God is working, please consider sending a message of encouragement to your sponsored child through the MOHI mobile app or through your online sponsor account. Your words can remind them that someone is praying for them, cheering them on, and grateful to be part of their journey.
