Greetings from Chumani!

Jambo from Chumani! As another school term comes to a close, we are grateful to God for His care and faithfulness. Thank you for your prayers and partnership as we walk alongside students and families through Christ-centered ministry.

We are glad to share a few highlights from this term.

• Our preschool students and their parents participated in Preschool Fun Day and competitions. It was a joyful time for families to take part in school life and celebrate the children’s growth.
• Students participated in an inter-house athletics competition, where they used their skills in different sports and encouraged one another throughout the events.
• Through the school’s Farming God’s Way project, students are learning practical agriculture skills while helping grow food that supports the school’s nutrition program.

• We held a Synergy Sunday service, which brought the wider school community together for worship. The gathering helped strengthen relationships and local partnerships.
• Through Farming God’s Way, the church has continued agricultural activities such as poultry keeping and growing crops. These efforts help support church ministry activities, including Sunday school porridge and special programs.

• This term, we were grateful to welcome several visiting ministry partners who encouraged our school community in meaningful ways.
• A visiting ministry partner led Farming God’s Way training for students, helping them learn practical skills they can use at school and at home.
• Another visiting team led VBS for more than 300 students, with Bible lessons and hands-on activities centered on trusting God. The students enjoyed learning together and growing in their faith.
• We also welcomed a longtime MOHI ministry partner who provided class observation training and visited students’ homes, where she spent time with families and community members.

Amir has been part of the Chumani community for many years. In earlier seasons of life, he faced personal struggles that left him discouraged and unsure of the way forward. Even then, God was at work in his story.

When MOHI began serving in the community through the school and church, Amir became connected to the ministry and started volunteering at the school. Over time, he was drawn into the life of the church and began taking steps toward faith in Christ.

As his faith grew, Amir also grew in responsibility and service. He later became a church leader and continued serving students with care and consistency. His commitment was recognized, and he was eventually offered a full-time role supporting the school.

Today, Amir serves students through the school nutrition program. His work supports children’s learning by helping ensure they are nourished and ready for the school day. He serves with care, and his example encourages others around him.

Amir’s family has also been strengthened along the way. His child is now part of the MOHI school community, where they are learning and receiving spiritual encouragement. Amir continues to use his story to point others toward God’s faithfulness and the steady growth that can take shape over time.

A different name has been used to honor privacy.

• Pray that our students will grow in their love for God and remain committed to their studies.
• Pray for continued partnership and growth through the Farming God’s Way project and other ministry efforts.
• Pray for peace in the community and for families to live in harmony with one another.
• Pray that the families we serve will continue to experience God’s care and be strengthened over time.
