On Wednesday 9th June, the staff that will be responsible for all activities pertaining to the Angaza Camp were given the charge to ‘go forth!’

The team consisted of the camp manager and his assistant, camp coordinators, spiritual formation officers and approximately 50 mentors of whom 95% are MOHI alumni. Executive Director, Mary Kamau, shared the camp’s vision with the team while CEO Wallace Kamau led prayers and commissioned the workers to serve campers with all diligence.

The Angaza camp is located in Kenya’s coastal town of Kilifi. It has been set aside as a place for a retreat where all grade six students, from all MOHI schools, will spend 10 days of experiential learning being taught about God, creation care, personal development and life skills.

Construction is currently ongoing at the camp and the first lot of campers are expected at the camp in September.IMG_20210616_114244
